New Knit Along

I finally took the plunge and joined in on a knit along.


The Weasley Sweater Along


Since I have a Harry of my own (we actually call him Henry) I thought this would be a great project. I ordered the kit from the same company in England that made the sweaters for the kids in the Harry Potter movie, the Yarn Warehouse.

Back on the homefront, today is DYEING DAY. I have a sink full of tidepool colored roving cooling down. I dyed up one whole pound of Romney wool. Since I am new to this, I wanted to see about how much yarn can be spun from one pound of roving.

My camera is on the blink. I am hoping that it is only a battery problem. I will post some pics once I figure it out.
